Chaar Sahibzaade, the four sons of the 10th Sikh Guru – Guru Gobind Singh ji; Ajit Singh Ji, Jujhar Singh Ji, Zorawar Singh Ji and Fateh Singh Ji, were martyred between December 21 and December 27 in the year 1704 AD. On these darkest of days, their youngest hero and bravest comrade of Sikhism, Sahibzada Fateh Singh (1699-1705) who was the youngest of Guru Gobind Singh’s four sons, Sahibzada Zorawar Singh (1696-1705), his elder brother and Mata Gujar Kaur ji, his grandmother sacrificed their lives for their faith and the right to remain Sikhs. Special Assembly was performed by the Secondary students wherein they sang shabad, played Gatka, recited poetry and told History behind their sacrifices. Dr. Rajesh Kumar Chandel, Principal addressed the students and talked about the significance of this day. Ardaas was also performed and parshad was distributed amongst all.
