An Annual IT event WIZTECH initiated by DCM Groups of Schools is the right platform for our 'Tech-savvy children' to showcase their IT skills in this highly technical environment. The event is held annually  in DCM Presidency School, Ludhiana. It is an inter school event, where along with DBS, seven more schools  participated. The students got an opportunity to participate in various events like poster making, e-chess, MS paint, declamation, debate, IT quiz etc. The students of DBS took part in every event with great zeal. Sharanya of class IV bagged the bronze medal in MS paint for the school. Children got an opportunity to show case their talent and learn about numerous new innovations at the event. It was a memorable experience for all the participants. Today’s society is different from the one that existed not so many years ago. We live in an information age society where newer technologies are playing a major role in every field even education. Being tech- savvy is the need of the hour, be it in the form of PowerPoint presentations or online books and study resources.
